The studios approach lays emphasis on content, context and storytelling to create spaces which connect its inhabitants. Our work uses local resources and cultural influences, to create holistic experiences.
The team, consists of architects, designers, storytellers, interpreters, and business planners who combine knowledge, creativity & technology and create simple, effective and authentic solutions.

Abhhay Narkar - Founder Principal Architect. Having collaborated with various designers with diverse skills set as design partners, the studio has grown many folds under his leadership.
Across a span of two decades he has headed and worked on diverse projects including residential architecture and interiors, restoration, adaptive reuse of public buildings, museums and art galleries, hospitality, retail design, exhibitions and events. His strengths lie in contextual concept development of architectural and interior space design and management and implementation.
An graduate from SPSMBH’s College of Architecture, Kolhapur, Abhhay started his career in 1994 with Architect Raja Aederi in Mumbai. And worked on various large scaled architectural projects that include ICICI Towers (BKC, Mumbai), Kodak Towers (Prabhadevi, Mumbai), Capital Court (Muniraka, New Delhi) among others. He has been a faculty member at NIFT, New Delhi, at Sushant School of Architecture Masters Programme and Jury Member at various architecture festivals.
Aparna Nambiar - Principal Exhibition Design. An exhibition design graduate from NID, Ahmedabad, she has an active interest in design thinking and storytelling through spaces. She uses design as a tool for cultural conservation and outreach by designing environments and experiences that make culture and heritage more accessible to audiences. Her diverse experience of 15 years in exhibitions, events, installation design, graphic design, set design and branding has helped build a multidisciplinary approach to all projects at the Vertex since she joined in 2014.
Vinod Narkar - Principal Architect. His core strengths and passion lie in articulating spaces, project detailing and implementation. He is been active as a speaker in many design forums and served as faculty and juror at design competitions and institutes across the country.
A graduate from Bharitya Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai. He started his career in 1997 with Architect Bijoy Jain and later with Architect Kapil Gupta, Architect Sameep Padora and Architect Alfaz Miller on various residential and institutional projects.
Vrinda Gokhale - Principal Architect. Her core strengths lie in environmental design, client servicing, project management and implementation. A graduate from Bharitya Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai. She started her career in 1997 with Architect Sameera Rathod.
She is an active faculty in Rizvi College of Architecture, Mumbai and interacts with students in various architecture institutes through the design workshop she conducts. She has recently been part of the core research team for the Aga Khan Foundation publication “Indore : Dialogues and Existence”.
